The Senior Director, Global Trade Development (Asia Pacific) is responsible for the development and implementation of market strategies to support the retention and creation of international relationships that will bring leisure sales to the U.S.A. This leader will manage two Senior Sales Manager, Global Trade Development (in DC) and manage corresponding representative firms in China (assist with), Japan, South Korea, South East Asia, India and Australia/New Zealand while selling and promoting the U.S. as a premier travel destination.
At least 10 years’ experience in the global travel industry working with the Asia Pacific markets (absolute proficiency with Chinese market). Has managed other Asia Pacific leisure sales managers. Develop and execute strategic plans to promote global trade and bring travelers to the USA. Existing relationships with tour and receptive operators in the Asia Pacific markets. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Japanese is highly preferred; both written and verbal.
