Visit Austin has an immediate opening for a Visitor Center Manager of Operations. The primary responsibility for the position is to manage the daily operations for the Visitor Center and supervise the staff. This position reports to the Director of Retail & Visitor Services.
Responsibilities include the following: Train and support staff to ensure highest level of customer service; execute strategies to increase revenue; track cash controls and inventory controls; oversee online store and amenity packages; track and report all statistical information for retail store and walking tours; and manage the site operations including building maintenance, signage, safety and compliance.
Required skills & qualifications: Customer service, retail and cash-handling experience; retail buying and merchandising experience; management experience; and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience.
