Position Roles & Responsibilities: - Participate in the development of destination branding and corporate identity initiatives
- Direct, develop and implement short and long-term marketing and communication strategies aligned with goals and objectives, including an annual business plan
- Oversee the development of all brand marketing and communications strategies in paid, earned, shared and owned media to further brand awareness and target receptivity efforts while ensuring brand consistency
- Develop, implement and evaluate all internal and external marketing, communications, public relations and community outreach programs including but not limited to branding, advertising, marketing, communications, public relations, social media, web/mobile development, publications/publishing, promotions, special events, research, analytics, partnership initiatives, media relations, community outreach, investor relations, merchandising, cooperative marketing, sales tools, presentations, among others
- Creates and implements with an eye on innovative, disruptive approaches and conversation starters
- Lead and develop annual report, marketing plans, promotional calendar as well as annual media plan (in cooperation with in house media director)
- Direct, create, manage, monitor and execute complex budgets with multiple revenue streams
- Direct market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data
- Conduct proprietary custom research including brand awareness, ad effectiveness, conversion studies, etc.
- Lead, collaborate and participate in a variety of team meetings and work groups to integrate shared goals/objectives, communications, activities, programming, new developments, communicate issues, obtain approvals, develop policies and procedures, etc.
- Deliver reports and presentations to executive leadership, stakeholders, partners and industry/community/business leaders, tailoring complex and compelling messages for different audiences
- Supervise, train, mentor, plan, assign, direct and coordinate work of marketing staff; interview, hire, and train employees; appraise performance; resolve problems, etc.
- Oversee, direct, manage and negotiate contracts, partnerships and program of work with advertising and public relations agencies, publishing partners, web providers, research and analytics vendors, etc.
- Monitor program and progress and prepare performance reports
