| Visit Potter-Tioga Seeks Executive Director Do you love Potter and Tioga counties? Are you excited to show visitors the broad range of unique activities and services available here in the wilds of northern Pennsylvania? Do you have a passion for helping tourism-based businesses grow and thrive? Visit Potter-Tioga (VPT), a two-county Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) serving Potter and Tioga counties, PA, is looking for an Executive Director to lead our friendly and enthusiastic team. Applicants must have demonstrated experience in tourism promotion, marketing, public relations, communications, office management, and leadership as well as in financial oversight and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of Potter and Tioga counties and a passion for sharing and promoting their communities and diverse populations with visitors to the region. The position will involve some overnight travel to conferences and other out-of-area events, as well as hosting promotional events and travel writers locally, and promoting Potter and Tioga counties at regional events. The standard, full-time work schedule will regularly include evening and/or weekend hours. Applicants must possess a minimum of three years’ experience in tourism destination development and marketing. A Bachelor’s degree in tourism, marketing or a related field is preferred. The Executive Director reports to the Visit Potter-Tioga Board of Directors. Salary will be negotiated commensurate with experience. Visit Potter-Tioga offers a full and competitive benefits package.
