Explore Fairbanks is searching for a person to fill the President and CEO position to lead this dynamic team charged with the marketing of and optimizing the visitor experience within the year-round destination in Alaska’s Interior region. This exempt position is a catalyst for the growth of tourism through the development and execution of effective strategies in a high-paced 501(c)(6) organization. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President and CEO is responsible for strategic vision and provides oversight on programs, staff and financial management. Candidates should have five years minimum of upper-level management experience within the travel industry; destination marketing experience preferred.
