Responsible for identifying market opportunities, implementing strategies to attract conventions and events to fill Manhattan's lodging. Coordinates all aspects of group sales and services on a day-to-day basis. Works closely with meeting planners.
Identify market opportunities, developing & implementing strategies to attract meetings, conferences, tradeshows, special events, sports and leisure visitors.
Generate leads to book future business, set definite room night goals.
Develop and implement annual sales and services plan.
Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 5 years work experience
Skills in direct sales, account management, sales presentations
Knowledge of Marketing
Excellent presentation skills
Able to work evenings, weekend, holidays based on client and office demands
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
