The Director of Destination Development will work closely with our tourism partners to create opportunities for new programs and products to further the organization's mission of impacting the area's economy by promoting it as a premier tourism destination. Responsibilities include community and partner relations, group sales, advocacy, and project management. This position reports directly to the President and CEO and will serve as the organization's second in command in their absence.

Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality and tourism, marketing, communications, or public relations.

Three year's management experience

Five years experience in hotel, hospitality and tourism, economic development, hotel or destination sales, and management.
