What you'll do:
As a creative strategist, you’ll drive digital marketing strategies to enhance our digital footprint as a leading destination marketing organization that continues to create positive economic impact through tourism and enhance the quality of life for those that call the Lehigh Valley home.
Drive digital content for the Discover Lehigh Valley website to influence visitation through enhanced organization and brand awareness
Proactively analyze monitor SEO/SEM, web traffic, marketing, and sales performance metrics to forecast trends and suggest solutions to boost web presence
Continually research products, services, and current strategies to keep up to date with our audience’s preferences, identify advertising needs, and develop new campaigns
Effective management of budget and spending through digital channels
Foster communication and teamwork amongst the sales, marketing, design and content teams and liaise with third-party vendors to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency
Confidently collaborate with our partners, clients, stakeholders, and board members in providing performance goals, measurements, and actionable insights surrounding digital channel performance
What you need to thrive in this role:
3-5+ years’ experience in digital marketing and creating digital strategies a must; experience in managing marketing efforts for a geographic area/location preferred
Well-versed in website management, ad purchases and publication, creation of blogs and content, and promoting video and photography assets through digital mediums
Demonstrated experience with SEO/SEM, CMS and CRM software, and implementation of Google AdWords campaigns
Strong knowledge of web analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics) and familiarity with web design and HTML
Driven to commute effectively, think creatively, develop innovative strategies, and execute a plan of action
Passionate advocate for the destination marketing and hospitality industries
