The department is typically staffed as a two-person unit. Most staff members are skilled in all roles including labor and delivery, post partum, and nursery. Candidates should possess strong assessment skills. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring is essential. The department averages 15-20 deliveries per month. Housing may be challenging due to local construction and tourism. Travelers with RVs may find the best housing options. The EMR used is OBIX. Holiday coverage is required.
